Alison Fox SHRM Certification Scholarship*

The Alison Fox SHRM Certification Scholarship honors our late board member, Alison Fox, Esq., who served as Legislative Representative on our Chapter Board for many years.  Alison had a deep passion for giving her time, wisdom, and heart to growing young professionals in the Michiana community. This $1000 scholarship was created in 2017 to assist and support Chapter members* seeking SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credentials.  The scholarship covers access to the SHRM Learning Management System, registration in our Chapter Study Group, and test registration fees.

Jason Flagg Careers in HR Scholarship

The Jason Flagg Careers in HR Scholarship honors the memory of our late Chapter member, Jason Flagg, whose support was invaluable to the careers of many HR professionals in our community. This $2000 scholarship, established in 2026 in partnership with TalentSource, is awarded annually to one individual seeking to further their HR career with SHRM specialty credentials, conference attendance, or in other ways that can be described in the application.

HR Indiana Annual Conference Scholarship*

The Chapter awards two scholarships for attendance at the HR Indiana Annual Conference in Indianapolis.  The value of the scholarship is approximately $1500 per award and covers conference registration, hotel, and mileage.

Student Scholarships

Use the download button below to apply for one of these student scholarship opportunities -

  • Sons and Daughters Scholarship*
    This scholarship is available to children of current Chapter members. Applicants must either be a senior in high school or attending college with a GPA of 3.0 or better.  Any degree type is eligible for this scholarship. 
  • Student Chapter Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to current Student Chapter members who are attending college with a GPA of 3.0 or better and pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or related field. High school seniors are also eligible to apply for this scholarship if they intend to pursue a Human Resource Management or related degree.

*Applicants for these scholarships must be DUAL members (SHRM and Michiana SHRM) AND be actively working or studying in the HR field or be children of DUAL members in the case of Sons and Daughters scholarship.
